Announcement by KBTX @ the Library June 2026

Volunteers:

We will need modelers to guide the Vets and Kids during several 2-3 hour sessions held in the Classroom. We are soliciting tools, glue, nippers, and sanding sticks from vendors, but volunteers may bring their own basic kit if they wish. There will be no painting at this initial session.

Donations:

We will be looking for super simple kits, glue, nippers, sanding sticks so that our guests can experience the joy we feel when we open a kit and get started on a build.

Exhibit:

This won’t be a contest, it will be display only. We may do a ticket system for people’s choice. The theme is being refined and will be posted here. You can safely assume that it will be connected to President Bush’s legacy. We may even have multiple themes.
